Our Inaugural Board Meeting: A Joyful First Step Toward a Kinder World

Last week, The Kindness Accelerator held its inaugural board meeting—and we’re still feeling the energy and inspiration from the incredible people in the room. It was more than just an agenda and action items (though we had plenty of those!). It was a meaningful milestone—our official first step as a team united by a shared mission: to teach, inspire, and mobilize intentional kindness.

As we gathered, we took time to connect not just by role, but by heart. We shared stories of what kindness means to each of us, why we said “yes” to this mission, and what kind of world we hope to help shape through this work. Each board member brings something unique—strategic insight, creative ideas, community connections, financial expertise—but most importantly, each one brings heart.

Together, we affirmed the values that guide us: Joyful Energy. Collaborative Leadership. Courage & Integrity. Inclusive Connection. Sustainable Ripple Effects. Every decision we make will be filtered through our three questions:

1. Does this promote or inspire intentional kindness?

2. Can we do it well with our current time, tools, and team?

3. Does it build a culture of kindness from the inside out?

We ended the meeting energized, aligned, and deeply grateful—for each other, for this opportunity, and for what’s ahead.

This is just the beginning. We can’t wait to share more as The Kindness Accelerator moves from vision to action—and brings even more light, laughter, and love into the world.
